Welcome to Sunday.  After a couple of very dull days and rain here, it looks like today we will have a bit of sun - not bad when winter is just around the corner.

Today I have just 1 card to show.  I was inspired by the colours and the use of chevrons with elephants from a Stamp Nation member, so this is my version.

That's all for today.  Enjoy the rest of your weekend - Judith

Hi All.  I'd like to start by saying Happy Mother's Day to all the Mother's out there as today is Mother's Day here in NZ.

My Mother's Day card this year was made using Stampin Up Butterfly Basics, with the inspiration for this card coming from Pinterest.

I made 3 of these as a friend wanted one for her Mother as well.  I also put together these 2 6x6 inch canvas mixed media pictures as a present.  Hope you like them.

Have a good week - Judith

Monday, 27 April 2015

Hi All.  Sorry my post is a bit late.

This week I have a couple of cards to show you.  I have made a couple of cards for a Virtual Retreat challenge at Stamp Nation -

This first one uses a Penny Black stamp and is coloured using my Inktense pencils.

This one uses the Stampin Up Four Feathers set and a sentiment from Clearly Besotted.

I have used an Inkadinkado cupcake stamp set and Swiss Dots embossing folder for the background.

As I spoke about last time, I have redone this card.  The one above is the original and the one below I redid with some better colouring skills than above.

Well that's all for this week.  I have been working on Mother's Day cards, but will reveal on/after May 10th.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the people of Nepal who are suffering from deadly earthquakes.  Until next post - stay safe.

Hi All.  I hope you had a good week.  I just have 1 very quick and easy Sympathy card to share with you this week.

I have made Mother's Day cards this weekend, but haven't had a chance to get a photo yet.

I also thought I would like to remake a couple of my earlier cards now that I have some better colouring skills, so look out for those - I will post the earlier photo to see how they compare.  I am hoping to have the first of these for you to see next weekend.  In the mean time, have a good week and see you again soon - Judith

Hope you all had a very Happy Easter.  We went to the Classic Fighters air show in Blenheim on Saturday, then spent the night in Picton with friends.  We stopped at Ohau Stream north of Kaikoura to see the seal pups on the way home.  What a treat that was.  They are so cute and seem to love showing off.  Photo below so you can judge for yourself...

I have a couple of cards to show today.  The first one using the same Penny Black stamp as last weeks, but I have put it together using different base card and layers.  This shows just how different something can look just by choosing different colours.

The next card was very quickly put together using an old Stampin Up Sale-a-bration set and a piece of embossed paper.

That's all for this week.  Judith

Sunday, 29 March 2015

Hi All.  I know it has been 2 weeks - unfortunately things just got in the way of me posting.  However, I have a couple of cards to show today -

On this one I have used a Penny Black stamp and Paper Smooches for the sentiment.  The colouring is done with Inktense pencils on watercolour paper.

This one uses a range of the Couture Creations dies to create this polaroid with ship wheel and anchor.  The image is coloured with Inktense pencils again.

This one is also a Penny Black stamp and coloured with Inktense pencils.

The last one is adapted slightly from a card I found on Pinterest using Stampin Up stamps and embossing folder to create a Valentines card.

Thanks for stopping by.  Until next time - happy stamping - Judith

Monday, 16 March 2015

Hi again - I am a day late with this.  Not quite sure what happened yesterday, but the weekend seemed over far too quickly.

I have just a couple of Thinking of you cards to share this week.  The first one has layers and the second ones are single layer cards - very simple and easy to do ...

The flowers on all 3 have been coloured using ink or watercolour pencils.

Thats all until next time.  Thanks for stopping by - Judith
