I hope you all had a nice Christmas Day.  We had a good day with family but the weather wasn't great in the afternoon.  Ah well - maybe next year.

These are a couple of recent cards I put together now my craft room is on the way to being a little more organised.

This sympathy card uses a retired Stampin Up stamp from the Embrace Life set with a Hastings Rubber Stamp In Sympathy stamp.

This one is from the Stampin Up Heartfelt Thanks set.  I just love what you can do with these two stage stamps.

For the last one I used some lovely leaf stamps from Montarga Rubber Stamps here in Christchurch with a bit of Stampin Up Gorgeous Grunge and the sentiment is from the Made For You set (also retired).

I hope you have a Happy New Year and find some time to do some craft of some kind over the holiday break.  I will be back in 2014.

I have finally found some time to get back and post a photo of my Christmas cards for this year.  I have used a Couture Creations holly die and washi tape.  The Merry Christmas stamp is from a retired Stampin Up set called Season Of Joy.

My Craft Room is close to being complete, just needs a couple of bookcases and a bit of organisation, then I will be right into lots of stamping and things next year.

I wish you and your family a safe and Happy Christmas and Best Wishes for 2014.

Monday, 2 December 2013

Wow its been a long time since my last post.  I have been making Christmas cards and been busy with moving back into my house after having earthquake repairs and renovations done - its been exhausting.

So I thought I would share some of my earlier cards - that is the ones that I'm not too embarrassed to show as the ones I make now are much better.

This is one of the first I made for my husband's birthday back in 2011 - he's into motorbikes and planes.

The next is the first I made for my Mum's birthday.  I love the tissue paper flowers and there is Liquid Pearls at the bottom of the bird cage.

This is a wedding card made for a friend, again using tissue paper flowers.

A birthday card for my sister.

A Mother's Day card.

And another birthday card.  This time with little rolled flowers which I love making.

Wednesday, 13 November 2013

Busy, busy week here with home renovations happening like there is no tomorrow.  I have had some time to relax and make a couple of cards though, before I get stuck into my Christmas cards for this year.

First up is a card I made for a friend who is having a 'still alive gig' after a cancer scare earlier this year.  I have used the ferris wheel from this years Stampin Up Sale-a-Bration Feeling Sentimental stamp set with That's The Ticket and the Ticket Duo Builder punch.  The gorgeous wee tickets have been stapled onto the card.  I love the way this looks.

And lastly a sympathy card made using the Craft Concepts Dandelion Whisper embossing folder, a lovely In Sympathy stamp from Hastings Rubber Stamps (I love this font) and the Stampin Up Bitty Butterfly punch.  I have a soft spot for all things butterfly and have way too many butterfly punches.

That's all I have time for this week, so back to the renovations.

Wednesday, 6 November 2013

I am finally able to get back to post some new photos.  The following is a  lovely little card I made for a male birthday or whatever using a lovely penny farthing stamp from Montarga here in Christchurch, with some natural ribbon and an antique brad from Stampin Up.

For this next one, I have used a Memory Box Chesapeake Circle die and one of the stamps from the Stampin Up Eastern Blooms set with small punched out flowers and self adhesive pearls on pearlised paper.

Next is a Rubbadubbadoo boat stamp on watercolour paper with a watercolour wash behind.

And lastly a birthday card I made for my Aunty with a Montarga flowered archway stamp.  The embossing folder is Fudge by Couture Creations.  The little butterfly is a Beautiful Wings Embosslits by Stampin Up.

Have a great week - Judith

Sunday, 27 October 2013

Well it has been a very busy week here so I haven't had much time to make anything new except the following card for a nieces wedding.

I have used Stampin Up's Wildflower Meadow embossing folder, Stampin Up Bitty Butterfly and Elegant Butterfly punches and a Sullivans Tag punch.

Below are a couple of other cards made earlier in the year for family and friends birthdays.  Hope you like some of the ideas I've used.

Saturday, 19 October 2013

I am very new to blogging, so please forgive me.  I hope to get better in the not too distant future.

My craft room has got a step closer today with the cleaning out of the old furniture.  When the walls have been painted and new carpet down, I will be able to put my new work desk in place with all my card-making bits and pieces.

In the mean time - here are a couple of cards I made this week ...

I have used Kaisercraft Sweet Pea paper and a retired Stampin Up set called Wonderful You.  Hope you like them.  Sometimes its just nice to have something very simple and quick to make.
